Tarangire is named after the river that flows through the park. Matching Serengeti’s huge number and variety of wildlife as one of Tanzania’s lesser-known reserves. It’s a decent choice for travellers who want to encounter more animals and less visitors during the safari. The Tarangire National Park is known to be a marvellous bird resort and also has a large number of game, particularly when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the region during dry season. Owing to the vast number of scenic baobab trees, the scenery is also of special interest.
